Volunteers will help clear out weeds and mulching at the Seattle Program Center to beautify the landscaping for the summer.
Meet on Saturday June 28th in front of the building at 9am. John Wick has agreed to open and close the building and Rosemary Baker of Olallie Landscapes will be coordinating the work. They anticipate work being done until 1 PM at the latest (but many hands make for lighter work!). EarthCorps is expected to bring wheelbarrows and tools and Rosemary plans on bringing cardboard and burlap.
Useful things for volunteers to bring are gloves, water and food at their discretion. And any hand tools they may like to use for landscaping like this (weeding and mulching).
Thank you for making the SPC look gorgeous!
