Meet at Haggen Grocery at 7:15 to carpool to work site. We need a second vehicle to carry some tools and a couple crew members.
We have two goals - no wait, we have three goals on this trip.
1- Check out our tool cache to be sure all are in working order and arrange replacement or repair as needed,
2. Get in some Sawyer practice including site and problem assessment, sawyer teamwork, safety briefing updates, new crewmember mentoring and assessing the physical challenge of sawing,
3. Removing a large maple tree from the trailhead and clearing this frequently used trailhead properly and safely.

Required Equipment
Clothing appropriate for the weather, plus additional clothing for wet weather reserve.
Sawyers are required to wear long sleeves and long pants and to wear cut-resistant work boots or hiking boots.
Tools, helmets work gloves and eye protection are provided.
