Help maintain Pilchuck Fire Lookout and an overnight stay enjoying sunset and sunrise.

Meet: Starbucks(next to McDonald"s) @ Frontier Village in Lake Stevens

Day: July 4 2018

Time: 7:00 am

Moderate to steep snow travel experience is required.

Carring extra supplies, tools and materials will be part of this stewardship project(a larger pack will be helpful) along with overnight gear.

Work to be done: Carring supplies, tools and materials up to and down from the lookout; help out with maintenace(Demolition of a shutter, minor repairs, painting, cleaning up around the lookout). 

use of tools( hand and battery powered.

For over night stay: (Will be sleeping in the lookout but may have to stay on the flat spot below lookout) Sleeping pad, Sleeping bag, optional bivy bag, optional hammock, warm cloths, stove and eating utensils, snacks, lunch, breakfast, dinner, hot drinks. Snow melt for cooking.

Cloths you won't mind getting dirty and paint on.
