  • For Beginners (Getting Started Series)

May 24 at 8 AM to 4 PM

 Lord Hill Regional Park, Snohomish County. Meet at the barn to the right of the parking lot.

Trail maintenance crew leader training
-Tools and safety for hand trail maintenance, leadership/crew leading 
-Lectures and demonstration and hands-on training, participants will get an overview of basic trail development,  and skills to maintain and lead a trail crew.
-How to make a safe volunteer experience, supervision of volunteers by volunteers

Longsleeve shirts and pants are required, gloves and appropriate footwear (closed-toed shoes -  boots preferable)
 Be prepared for deteriorating weather
 Bring sack lunch, snacks and water

Tools, helmets work gloves and eye protection are provided.
