We'll take advantage of the good weather to test some newly sharpened crosscut saws and cut some wind-fallen logs from the trail.

Leader Permission required on this trip - - contact leader before signing up.  Primary focus will testing your saw.   Bring your newly sharpened crosscut saw and we'll compare notes.  And get some trail maintenance done.

Required Equipment

In addition to the 10 Essentials, plan to wear long pants/long sleeves while working.  Also bring hardhat, work gloves, eye protection, cut-resistant high-top boots, water and lunch.  If you don't have a hardhat one can be provided for you to use with advance notice to leader. Plan in working in cold weather.  Bring microspikes if the forecast suggests there may be ice on the trail.
