Meet at Teneriffe Trailhead. A Discover pass is required and the Teneriffe Trailhead tends to fill up on weekends, so please consider carpooling and/or arriving early to ensure a parking spot is found. Some participants may wish to consider using Trailhead Direct which serves trailheads along Mount Si road, including the Teneriffe Trailhead (early arrivals are 8:32 & 9:02). See https://trailheaddirect.org/mountsi/ for more information.
The Mountaineer’s will support Greenway trail crews by upgrading a primitive trail located approximately 2.25 miles from the trailhead. This work is considered heavy maintenance and volunteers will be working with rock… moving it… shaping it… and carrying it. When finished, this new trail will provide a connector from the Teneriffe Mountain Trail to Teneriffe Falls. If you enjoy a beautiful hike, and flexing some muscles, this project is for you!
This activity will run from 9 am -3pm, and Mountaineers that successfully complete the 6 hour activity will be awarded a Stewardship Credit badge.
After signing up on the Mountaineer’s website for this activity, please follow the link below to sign the waiver with Mountains to Sound Greenway. You must sign the waiver to participate in this activity.
