8:45 AM at Martin Creek Trailhead
Help celebrate National Public Lands Day by giving back a little to trails. The Iron Goat Trail is looking for volunteers to help with a maintenance/construction work party on Saturday, September 25. There will be a hamburger/hot dog feed and cake at the Skykomish City Park after the work party. Meet at the Martin Creek Trailhead at 8:45. Return to the trailhead around 3 to 3:30. To get to the trailhead, take US 2 to MP 55 (approximately 5 miles east of Skykomish). Turn north onto FSR 67 (Old Cascade Highway). Follow the road 2.4 miles to FSR 6710. Turn north onto FSR 6710 and follow that road 1.4 miles to the Martin Creek Trailhead.
