8:45 AM at Martin Creek Trailhead
Help celebrate National Public Lands Day by working on construction of the new Horseshoe Tunnel Extension of the Iron Goat Trail. Meet at the Martin Creek Trailhead of the Iron Goat Trail (take US 2 to Milepost 55. Turn north onto the Old Cascade Highway - FS Road #67. Drive 2.3 miles to FS Road #6710. Turn north, drive 1.4 miles to Martin Creek Trailhead). There will be a trailhead barbecue with hamburgers and hotdogs after the work party (approximately 4 PM).
