Join Volunteers for Outdoor Washington (VOW) and the USDA Forest Service for a day of trail maintenance or trail construction on the historic Iron Goat Trail. We will offer work at levels from moderate to strenuous. Construction will be on the Kelley Creek Connector trail in the Wild Sky Wilderness. Work parties will be split and you will be able to choose your work type preference. There will be a free hot dog/hamburger barbecue after the work party. Meet at the Martin Creek Trailhead of the Iron Goat Trail at 8:45 AM.

Directions to the trailhead can be found at www.irongoat.org or call Dennis Evans at 360 652-4459

Please wear sturdy leather boots or shoes, long sleeved shirt, and long pants. Bring gloves. Hard hats are required and will be provided. Climbing helmets are acceptable. Tools will be provided. You may bring such things as loppers and pruners if you wish. Please, no power tools. Children are permitted but we ask that they be at least twelve years old and must be accompanied by a responsible adult who can sign the liability release. Your mountaineers liability release does not apply for VOW or the Forest Service and you will be asked to sign a separate release.
