Meet at Irish Cabin Property at 9:00 am on Saturday, October 24th.
Let's do some fall cleaning before the weather sets in for the winter at the Irish Cabin property.
Come help out and earn your stewardship credit!
Equipment: Bring a pair of work gloves, your work clothes, water and food for the day. If you have any tools such as pruners, clippers, or hand saws please bring them.
To do list:
Pick up any blown down branches everywhere
Clear trail from parking lot to belay pit
Weed eat Target/Bearing area - parking lot
Weed eat Target/Bearing area - belay pit
Mow parking lot if there's no snow
Clean the picnic tables and storage bin
Removal of stinging nettles/devils club in the walking paths
We will also do a walk along Fairfax Road to the park entrance to clear any trash from the ditches
