9:00 AM at Heybrook Ridge Trailhead
Now is your change to reminisce about your Navigation Field Trip at Heybrook Ridge while "giving back" to the Mountaineers. Also, if your are a Basic Alpine Climbing student, this activity is qualified as credit for your stewardship / volunteer requirement! This is an outing to prepare the Heybrook Ridge area for Fall and Spring Navigation field trips. Participants will clear summer growth from the Navigation practice areas using clippers, loppers, and other brush clearing tools. Participants should bring their 10 essentials plus brush-clearing tools, heavy leather gloves, and outer layers you won't mind getting damp and scratched. Snacks provided at the trailhead, but plan on bringing a lunch for later in the day.
