Stewardship Half Day - Lord Hill Regional Park

Half day (3 hours) stewardship activity at Lord Hill Regional Park. We will be working on brushing out one of the trails.

  • Easy
  • Mileage: 2.5 mi
  • Elevation Gain: 250 ft

Be ready to go by 4:00 pm at the Red Barn (47.86091, -122.05871).  You can either park in the parking lot or in front of the barn on the grass.

12812 150th St SE, Snohomish, WA 98290

We plan on wrapping up by 7PM.

After an introduction and a safety briefing, we will hike to the job site and focus on brushing out the trail.  If we complete this, we may move to another site and move material away from the trail.  This will be a pretty low-key stewardship (nothing super difficult here).

An email will be sent the evening before with weather conditions, driving and meetup instructions, and any last minute details that would be handy to know. Please review the requirements list in advance.

Note: Snohomish County requires registration in their volunteer system. By registering for this event, you authorize us to provide your first and last name, and a phone number.

As a half-day  (3 hour) activity, participants who complete this activity are not yet eligible to receive the Stewardship Credit badge. If you have completed multiple half-day stewardship activities within the past year and you need this badge for course credit, please email info@mountaineers.org with the dates of your participation and our Member Services team will award you the badge.
