10:00 AM at Gold Creek Pond parking lot
Hyak exit #54 off I-90. Take an immediate left at the stop sign. Go north under the freeway and turn right on Forest Service Road #4832 that parallels the north side of the freeway. Drive 0.8 miles, turn left on Gold Creek road #142 and go 0.3 mile. Turn left into the Gold Creek Pond parking lot. Wear long pants, long sleeved shirt and hiking boots. Bring work gloves if you have them. Kids are welcome if accompanied by a parent. Bring your water bottle. Lunch will be provided Northwest Interpretive Association. Work will be from 10am to 3pm.
