National Trails Day 2026! We will be working in coordination with the Darrington Ranger District. Priority registration for Everett Scrambling students will be available until May 26th; after this date, it will be open to all members.

Registration is open to Everett Scrambling students until May 26th; then it will be open to all members until registration closes on June 3rd.

After an introduction and a safety briefing, we will hike to the job site, where we will focus on tread, removing organic material, clearing, and improving drainage.

An email will be sent the a day or two before with weather conditions, driving, meetup instructions, and any last-minute details that would be handy to know.

Please review the requirements list in advance.

We will meet at the Darrington Ranger Station  at 8:00AM and arrange for carpools to the trailhead. 

This is considered a full-day stewardship event. We expect to be back to the trailhead by 3:00PM

  • Hiking boots or cut-proof boots (Trail runners are not ok)
  • Eye Protection (We have some available if needed)
  • Hard Hat (We provide)
  • Work/garden gloves (We have some available if needed)
  • Snacks and water
  • Flashlight (headlamp is best)
  • Rain jacket and pants (weather dependent)
