I'm looking for a 3 people to help cutting some trees out of a trail near Verlot using a crosscut saw. If you have never used a big saw before, you will be amazed how much we can do. We will also be doing some clearing and brushing on a trail that has not seen regular maintenance in years. If more than 3 are interested, preference will be given to those who have helped with this trail before. I'm expecting good weather, but bring your 10 essentials. Also eye protection, boots, leather gloves, long pants required while working, have long sleeves available. Bring your favorite industrial hard hat (climbing helmet is acceptable alternate) or we will have hard hat for you to borrow (let leader know in by registration closing date if you need a hardhat). Includes option to cross stream on 4' diameter log or brush bash around crossing. If we do some additional reconnaissance, it might become a long day, but that will depend on what we find after we get to the work sites and how we are feeling as a group. Bikes optional on this trip. We'll carry the tools for about 2 miles on the road. I expect most of the day's work to be beyond the large tree.
