Priority registration for Basic Sea Kayaking Course students in need of an experience paddle.
I've turned "Request Leader Permission" to gauge need for boats and gear. Please indicate if you have or will need boat, spray skirt and paddle. Demand exceeding supply may necessitate a wait list, but we'll see how it goes.
For the trip:
Our approach to Eld Inlet will start with exploration of Sanderson Cove before proceeding on to Frye Cove County Park.
After lunch at the park, we'll make our way to Cooper Point and back to Boston Harbor.
Those needing to demonstrate or wanting to practice self and assisted rescues will have opportunities along the way.
We'll meet and launch from Boston Harbor. Please arrive for sufficient time to ready and on the water by 9:30am.
Discover Pass is required for parking at boat launch. Expect summer activity at Boston Harbor marina; limited parking may require boat/gear drop-off at launch and parking elsewhere.
