Meeting at 8:30 AM at Guemes Island Ferry dock in on 6th St and I Ave. Anacortes
Dress for immersion is required.
Launch Spot
We will carpool and take the Guemes ferry to Hunts Park on the NE of Guemes Island where we will launch.
Activities
We will paddle from Hunts Park to Vendovi Island. There are trails at the island and those who are interested can hike them. We will have lunch there. After lunch we will circumnavigate Vendovi Island before heading back to our launch spot in Guemes.

Required Equipment
These seven essentials plus The Ten Essentials are required on all sea kayaking trips. All but the whistle and clothing should be provided with any kayak rental.
- Floatation in both ends of the kayak
- U.S. Coast Guard approved Personal Flotation Device (PFD)
- Paddle
- Spray skirt
- Bilge pump with floatation
- Self-rescue paddle float
- Waterproof whistle
- Appropriate clothing for the conditions encountered seasonally
