9:30 AM at Arcadia Boat Launch

June 8, Sun. — Squaxin Island (SKII, 10NM) NOAA 18445 Page C, NOAA 18448, or Sea Trails WA205. Launch Time is 10 AM.  Clockwise circumnavigation of Squaxin Island.  We will paddle up Pickering Passage on the last of the ebb then down Peale Passage.  At the south tip of Squaxin we will pick up the flood to Hope Island for lunch.  Squaxin Island is a native reservation with no access.  Plan to be in your boat for about 3 hours.  This trip is designed as an experience paddle for basic course graduates and registration preference will be given to them.  Forecast for wind or bad weather cancels trip.  To register contact Bob Metzger, 360-705-9247.
