Tour the south sound from West Bay Park in Olympia to Titlow Park in Tacoma. This one way trip involves a car shuttle. Sails are welcome on this down wind trip, as long as you stay with the group.

This is a long trip with (hopefully) mostly down wind conditions. Participants should have experience and comfort paddling in wind and waves from behind and abeam.
Meet at Titlow Park at 8:45am to consolidate boats and gear into as few cars as possible for the shuttle.
I hope to complete the shuttle and launch from West Bay Park in Olympia by 10:00am

Required Equipment
These eight essentials plus The Ten Essentials are required on all sea kayaking trips. All but the whistle and clothing should be provided with any kayak rental.
- Floatation in both ends of the kayak
- U.S. Coast Guard approved Personal Flotation Device (PFD)
- Paddle
- Spray skirt
- Bilge pump with floatation
- Self-rescue paddle float
- Waterproof whistle
- Appropriate clothing for the conditions encountered seasonally
