Meet at Potlatch State Park for a 9 am launch.
Absent significant wind this should be a fairly easy paddle. We will paddle a course generally in the Great Bend area, specific route to be determined as we see how conditions shape up. One possible route is up to Hoodsport, then across to Musquetti Pt and Randlands Oyster Beach, then down to Union and back to Potlatch. The intent is to paddle early enough the beat the winds that often arise later in the day and be back by noon to enjoy the picnic festivities. This paddle will qualify for a student/experience paddle. All Mountaineers paddlers are welcomed, but priority will be given to Olympia paddlers who have RSVP'd for the picnic. If the paddle fills up, I will move the non-priority paddlers to the waitlist. Immersion wear and a Discover Pass is required.
