We will wheel our boats on the 9 am ferry at Anacortes heading to Friday Harbor on August 27th, have a picnic on the shore at Friday Harbor while awaiting the northbound current towards Jones Island. Launch about 2 pm. Paddle about 5 nm to Jones Island where we will camp for one night.

On August 28th we will kayak about 6 nm to Turn Island and camp there.

On August 29th we will paddle along the shore, perhaps as far south as Dinner Island, and then head back to Friday Harbor. We plan on catching the 3:50 ferry back to Anacortes.

This paddle is for those new to kayak camping as well as experienced folks. We'll have a zoom meeting about a month before the trip to go over gear and boat loading if this is the first time you've kayak camped.

We'll meet at the Anacortes ferry to wheel our kayaks on the 9 am boat to Friday  Harbor.  More details to come.
