We will have two days of roughly 15 nm each. Catching tides/currents are important in the San Juans so paddlers must have kayak camping experience and can paddle loaded boats reliably for at least 3 knots for at least 2 hours at a time. Travelling through Deception Pass on day 2 on or near slack but be prepared for rough water due to timing or current/wind opposition. Bring helmet and gloves if you want to explore caves opportunities which will be tide and time dependent.
