Sea Kayak - Saddlebag Island

Plan is to paddle from Anacortes to Huckleberry Island, then to Saddlebag Island, and then back to Anacortes for an approximately 8-9 nm trip.

Meet at Seafarer's Memorial Park in Anacortes at 8:00 am for launch at 9:00 am.  The Park is located at 601 Seafarers Way, Anacortes, WA 98221.

Sign up preference will be given to Everett Sea Kayak students through May 15.

  1. Floatation in both ends of the kayak
  2. U.S. Coast Guard approved Personal Flotation Device (PFD)
  3. Paddle
  4. Spray skirt
  5. Bilge pump with floatation
  6. Self-rescue paddle float
  7. Waterproof whistle
  8. Appropriate clothing for the conditions encountered seasonally
  9. Dry suit or wet suit
