We will meet at the takeout, Freeland park at 9:45, then arrange the shuttle to Phil Simon park in Langley. Plan to be on the 9am ferry from Mukilteo.

One way Paddle from Langley to Baby Island and Holmes harbor ending at Freeland park. With any trip in possession sound this time of year, we will hope for a chance of whale sighting. We will take a lunch stop at of near Baby Island.

This trip will follow the shoreline around the peninsula.

For the short shuttle we will use masks, and full vaccination required.

These eight essentials plus The Ten Essentials are required on all sea kayaking trips.  All but the whistle and clothing should be provided with any kayak rental.

  1. Floatation in both ends of the kayak
  2. U.S. Coast Guard approved Personal Flotation Device (PFD)
  3. Paddle
  4. Spray skirt
  5. Bilge pump with floatation
  6. Self-rescue paddle float
  7. Waterproof whistle
  8. Appropriate clothing for the conditions encountered seasonally
  9. Drysuit
