Sea Kayak - Pomeroy Park to Blake Island
We’ll be launching from Manchester once we arrive at Blake island with lunch at the Blake island camp ground. We will have an equivalency candidate who will be performing Tee, rescues and paddle float, self rescue, and various strokes along the way we will circumnavigate the island and clockwise direction returning directly west until reaching Shoreline then handlebar up to Pomeroy park.

9:30 AM unless you think you need more time then come earlier we’ll have our beach huddle at 10:15 AM promptly launch at 10:30 AM.
if you have a tow belt, bring it a marine radio, bring it and you should be wearing proper immersion clothing.
Everyone should bring something for lunch, warm liquids, many snacks.

Required Equipment
These eight essentials plus The Ten Essentials are required on all sea kayaking trips. All but the whistle and clothing should be provided with any kayak rental.
- Floatation in both ends of the kayak
- U.S. Coast Guard approved Personal Flotation Device (PFD)
- Paddle
- Spray skirt
- Bilge pump with floatation
- Self-rescue paddle float
- Waterproof whistle
- Appropriate clothing for the conditions encountered seasonally
