Let's meet at 5:15 PM and launch at 6 PM. We will meet at the Point Defiance boat launch, right next to the ferry terminal. There is a pay station right at the launch for the launch and parking fee ($7 ).
This is a night dinner paddle from the Point Defiance boat launch. We’ll leave at 6 PM and return between 9 and 10 PM.
Each kayak needs a white light which can be seen up to 2 nm either mounted on your boat or at hand.
Expect mid-November weather and conditions to include 1 – 2 foot waves, winds 10 -15 kts, temps in the mid 40’s.
This is a pot luck dinner, so bring a dish to share. I’ll bring some soup and corn bread.
Expect to eat at a beach with no improvements, so a chair may be desired. Hot stuff in a thermos or a stove is recommended. We won’t have open fires.
