Come and enjoy Tacoma from the water! We will paddle from Owen Beach to Chinese Reconciliation Park where we will eat lunch. Then we will paddle back to Owen Beach.

Since this paddle is intended for students, we will practice rescues.

Other paddlers will be welcomed as space allows.

Drysuits are required for this paddle.

You will need to bring an appropriate kayak with flotation at each end and adequate deck lines for rescues. All the other required kayak gear must be in good working condition.

Please bring all those essential items: See equipment tab below. Remember to bring  a lunch plus snacks for on the water, a way to warm up at lunch time like hot drinks, a poncho, etc, and your filled-out paddle sheets.

I'm looking forward to paddling with you!
