Sea Kayak - Olympic Aquatic Center Pool

Practice your rescues/rolls where the water's warm.

  • Casual

This is an opportunity to practice your rescues and/or rolls where the water is warm.

Participants must be competent with wet exits and bring their own kayaks.

Instruction is not provided at these sessions. While we often help one another, this is not a clinic.

Kayaks must be completely clean to enter the pool.

Locker rooms with lockers and showers are available. If you wish for your personal items to be secure, you may bring a lock.

Typically participants wear wet suits, rash guards, eye and nose protection (goggles, nose plugs), and water socks/shoes like your kayaking booties. Shorts and tee-shirt's are acceptable. Many people wear  helmets.

Remember the usual items as well - pfd, paddle, spray skirt, pump, paddle float, sponge.
