Join us for a beautiful paddle up Kilisut Harbor with undeveloped Indian Island on one side, and rural Marrowstone Island on the other. Viewing marine wildlife and greenery will be the mission of this paddle, it also can fulfill student paddle requirements.
Launching from Fort Flagler State Park, we will paddle up the harbor, investigate Mystery Bay, and continue further to perhaps view the culverts at the causeway. Bathrooms at Mystery Bay.
To get there: Last chance ferry on Edmonds to Kingston is 7:55am.Enter Fort Flagler, following signs to the lower campground. Meet at the mini-store.
No Discovery Pass needed. Free Parks Day on June 7th!
This is an SKII+ paddle with potential minor currents and wind.
8 – 10nm day.
Optional dinner at the eclectic Ajax Cafe afterwards.
