Launch from Latimer Landing at the west end of the Hartstine Island bridge.
51 E Harstine Bridge Rd, Shelton, WA 98584
Arrive in time for an 8:00am launch.
Portable toilet on site.
There may be an access fee for parking.
Tides are in our favor for this trip but 21nm is still 21nm. Paddlers should come prepared for an extended day on the water.
Dry suit required, as well as the ability to comfortably paddle in winds up to 15kts and waves up to 2ft.

Required Equipment
These eight essentials plus The Ten Essentials are required on all sea kayaking trips. All but the whistle and clothing should be provided with any kayak rental.
- Floatation in both ends of the kayak
- U.S. Coast Guard approved Personal Flotation Device (PFD)
- Paddle
- Spray skirt
- Bilge pump with floatation
- Self-rescue paddle float
- Waterproof whistle
- Appropriate clothing for the conditions encountered seasonally
