Meet at Walker County Park near Shelton about 9:30. We want to launch at 10:30/10:45.
We will paddle with the current which will be flowing east on an Ebb and will peak to -4.0 kts. at 12:20pm. We will play in some of the eddies on the way and then paddle out to Hope Island where we will have lunch. We will head back as the slack is nearing. Slack is 2:22pm off Arcadia and 3:41pm in Hammersley. The Flood current reaches peak of 3.6 knots at 6:21. We should be back to Walker prior peak flood (I am estimating about 6:00-6:30). The paddle will be in the range of 15 NM.
Tides:
At Shelton: High: 14.2 @ 8:14am
Low: -1.6 @ 3:36pm
High 14.7 @ 9:59pm
At Arcadia: Low: -1.8 @ 2:36pm
High @ 7:37am and 9:22pm
Bring all your gear, immersion wear, snacks, water and a lunch.
