Meet at Owen Beach (5605 Owen Beach Rd, Tacoma, in Point Defiance Park) at 9:00 am and we will launch at 10:00 am.

Join us for the Gig Harbor Triple Cross, about 7 nm.  This paddle is on the list that qualifies for the "Central Sound Paddling Experience" Mountaineers kayak paddle pin (ask about it if you aren't familiar with this.)

We will meet at Owen Beach (5606 Owen Beach Road, Tacoma, in Point Defiance Park) at 9:00 am and launch at 10:00 am.  Our plan is to paddle to the south end of Vashon Island for a brief break then on to Gig Harbor's "The Tides" restaurant for lunch.  Fortunately, the restaurant is fine with paddlers wearing their dry suits inside :)  After that, it's back to Owen Beach.

Paddlers will need to wear a dry suit over warm clothing, plus have a warm hat and gloves.

We will go out in wind conditions of up to 12 kts with waves up to one foot.  If conditions are more than this, the trip will be cancelled.
