We will meet at Owen Beach in Point Defiance, Tacoma, time TBA.

This is an SK III paddle of about 7 nm.  We will meet at Owen Beach and make three crossings (the "Triple Cross", get it?)  First we cross Dalco Passage to Vashon Island, then we cross the south end of Colvos Passage to Gig Harbor, where we will eat lunch at The Tides restaurant.  Finally, we will cross the north end of The Narrows on our way back to Owen Beach.  Afterwards, there should be time for some water play for those interested.

Expect the trip to proceed as long as wind < 15 kts and waves < 1.5 feet.  If it's a really windy day, we may try a more protected location elsewhere.  Dry suits required.
