  • Sea Kayak II+
  • Moderate
  • Mileage: 6.0 nm

9:00am at the Randall st boat launch in Gig Harbor.

Others are welcome to join in, beyond those practicing skills from the strokes class.

I expect this sea kayak trip to have this difficulty and plan to paddle in up to these conditions (view the sea kayak difficulties definitions on our Activity Types, Difficulties & Prerequisites page):

  • Difficulty: SKIII
  • Wind: <13 kts
  • Waves: <1.5 ft
  • Currents: <1kt
  • Distance:  10nm
  • Pace: Moderate

We'll cross over to Vashon and paddle south, then cross back to the Kitsap Peninsula and make our way back. Underway we will be reviewing and practicing strokes from the previous strokes class.

Lunch will be on the Vashon beach. We will then experience items shown in the summary!

Immersion wear required.
