Fun day, playing in the currents, boils, and eddies around deception pass.  Currents up to 4.5 kt.  Practice your rolls, rescues, balance skills, etc.  This is not a clinic, and previous currents experience is required.

  1. Floatation in both ends of the kayak
  2. U.S. Coast Guard approved Personal Flotation Device (PFD)
  3. Paddle
  4. Spray skirt
  5. Bilge pump with floatation
  6. Self-rescue paddle float
  7. Waterproof whistle
  8. Drysuit
  9. Helmet and gloves
  10. Long and short tow systems.
  11. Recommend; spare paddle, vhf marine radio, spare clothing in a drybag, expanded first aid kit, signaling kit.
