Be prepared to launch from Bowman Bay launch ramp at 09:00. We'll have a beach talk & discuss techniques for crossing eddy lines, boat handling skills that you should practice, and review safety and rescue expectations. You should be prepared for cold water immersion and expect to swim at some point. Bring all of your safety gear. Backup flotation is a good idea. Don't forget your helmet! This trip will include circumnavigation of Strawberry and Deception Islands, and qualify as an Olympia branch Riptide & Rapids paddle pin trip.
