Trip

Sea Kayak - Crescent Bay

Stay and play surf day at Crescent Beach. This is not a clinic or class, just a chance to surf at Crescent Bay with other Mountaineers folks

  • Sea Kayak IV
  • Moderate
  • Maximum Wind: 15 kts
  • Maximum Waves: 5 ft
  • Pace: n/a

I plan to be at the Crescent Beach and RV Park at 9:00 a.m. in the day use area or on the beach.  Look for my silver Nissan Frontier or my blue with orange trim Romany Surf.  Check in to let me know when you are going to be on the water.

This is a private beach so be prepared to pay the $8 for the day pass (included if you camp).

Part of this group is staying in the area for a paddle the next day however, anyone is welcome to come out and join us.  Again, this is not a class or clinic, you should already be comfortable paddling in the surf zone.   Dry suit and helmet required.   Be prepared to play in the surf and have some fun!
