Meet at the boat launch at Wildcat Cove in Larrabee State Park by 9AM for a 10AM launch. A Discover Pass is required. There is a pit toilet at the launch site.
This is a mentored paddle for Brian Collins. Please direct inquiries to Brian.
We will paddle from Wildcat Cove north to Governor's Point, then to Chuckanut Island, and likely make a stop in the small rocky cove in the headland NNW of Chuckanut Rock on the cove's narrow beach. On the return we will either explore the coast of Chuckanut Bay or retrace our route past Chuckanut Island.
This paddle is suitable for BSK students. We will find a suitable location for students to practice self and assisted rescues.
A dry suit is required. Bring water, lunch, and snacks. We expect to be back to Wildcat Cove by 2 - 3PM.
