Sea Kayak - Case Inlet
Be ready to launch from the boat launch at Joemma Beach State Park 20001 Bay Rd Kp S, Longbranch, WA 98351 at 9 am. You will need a Discover Pass and $7 launch fee, payable at the park. We will explore up the Key Peninsula to around Herron Island, weather permitting, then over to McMicken for lunch and back across to Joemma Beach. Required Equipment
These eight essentials plus The Ten Essentials are required on all sea kayaking trips. All but the whistle and clothing should be provided with any kayak rental.
- Floatation in both ends of the kayak
- U.S. Coast Guard approved Personal Flotation Device (PFD)
- Paddle
- Spray skirt
- Bilge pump with floatation
- Self-rescue paddle float
- Waterproof whistle
- Appropriate clothing for the conditions encountered seasonally
