Planning to launch from Washinton Park and make our way south along Fidalgo Head, crossing Burrows Pass to the islands. Working our way around the islands in a figure eight pattern.

If the group chooses, we can take a brief break on Young Island and walk to the South end for a view. We will take a second break at the Burrows lighthouse for lunch. Bring lunch and a warm beverage.

The currents are predicted to be light for the day, less than 1 knot. However, we will encounter short sections of higher currents, up to 2 knots. We may also see wind gusts exceeding the 12 knots sustained maximum. There are sections we will be paddling against light currents and will navigate closely to the rocks and kelp.

If conditions exceed the limits listed, we can discuss adjusting the route and/or location as needed.
