The Plan for the day is to paddle 7 miles round trip from Swan Town and return. Bring easy access snacks since the Lunch stop may be later than 12:00.   If time and conditions allow we will also provide time for those who want kayak rescue practice.

We will conduct the paddle at a level commensurate with the group's skill level, consistent with weather, current and wind forecasts.  As a Mountaineer paddler, you are responsible to check the forecast, currents and tides for the day.

If wind predictions are beyond an Sk II level, we may cancel or defer to a Plan B
