Meet at N dock at 2:30 pm to get situated on the boat and head out for the first concert. Late comers will be left behind. My cell is 419-386-9023 of you need to reach me.

I have a few open spots for the Christmas Ship Parade out of Shilshole. We'll motor around and follow the Argosy boats around and listen to their concerts. Blue Fin will be out as well. I won't put my boat in the locks because there will be too many drunk people not paying attention. However, we'll hang out right outside the locks and listen to the concert. The parade and concerts should take about two hours. After that, we'll have a potluck on the boat and maybe walk over to see Alan and Wendy on Blue Fin. I need to be back on my boat by 6 at N dock for my evening sail friends. I have a few non-Mountaineers friends along for the ride as well.

It will be very cold on the water after dark. I recommend ski gear or lots of layers under really good rain/foul weather clothes. I also recommend warm socks and good non-marking winter boots. Do not wear hiking boots or snow boots. Hand warmers and toe warmers are good too. I have a heater in the boat that we'll leave running, but you'll miss the fun if you're huddled down below. Within reason,. we'll go rain or shine, but this event is no fun in a downpour or strong wind, so we are somewhat weather dependent.

Please bring snacks and/or drinks to share, particularly if you plan to stay for the potluck. We can also eat aboard though since this is a motoring event.
