Three day backpack to Big Log Camp. Day 2 will be a day hike to Flapjack Lakes and Black and White Lakes.

Here is the planned agenda for the three days:
Day 1: Hike with backpack along North Fork Skokomish Trail from Staircase Ranger Station to Big Log Camp, and setup camp. 5.1 miles with 1200 ft elevation gain.
Day 2: Hike with day pack on a loop from Big Log to Spike Camp to Flapjack Lakes to Black and White Lakes to Big Log Camp. 10 miles with 3900 ft elevation gain.
Day 3: After breakfast break camp and hike with backpack along North Fork Skokomish Trail from Big Log Camp to Staircase Ranger Station. 5.1 miles with 300 ft elevation gain.
Participant must bring $16 to pay for backcountry permit.
Bring a bear canister to store your food.

Required Equipment
The Ten Essentials plus overnight gear which may include:
- Tent with footprint/ground tarp
- Stove and fuel
- Sleeping bag
- Sleeping pad
- Water filter
- Bear canister or extra stuff sack and cord designated for hanging food
- Cooking pot/pan with plate and utensils
- Toilet paper and shovel or blue bag to deal with waste
- Day pack
- Trekking Poles (the section of trail down from Black And White is steep and unimproved).
