Naturalist Trip - Vashon & Maury Islands

8:25 am at the 65th Street Park and Ride to catch the 9:25 am ferry at Fauntleroy and also spend a few minutes viewing ducks off the Fauntleroy dock.  You can also make arrangements to meet us near the ferry.  We want to limit the number of cars due to parking limitations at some sites.  

Bring binoculars and a scope if you have one.  You will be exposed to weather.  Dress accordingly.  We usually visit a lunch spot in the city of Vashon after we are done birding.  It will be a somewhat short day.  

I will check the weather a couple days before the trip.  If the winds are forecast for greater then about 10 mph or it is  a high chance of rain, I will probably cancel the trip.
