This 2.75-mile trip will follow a number of trails in both Shoreview & Boeing Creek Parks. We will be listening for and identifying birds as we come across them. While this trip is rated as easy it includes some short steep up and down sections, as well as a possible easy stream crossing. Boots and hiking poles are recommended as it may be slick and muddy.
The parks are located behind Shoreline Community College in Shoreline. It has a large parking lot which includes a restroom.
We will proceed at a slow birding pace and will not be stopping for lunch. You are welcome to bring snacks and something to drink for along the trail.
More information will be provided in the Hello Hiker email prior to the trip.
We will meet at the trailhead at the end of the Shoreview Park parking lot at 8:30 prepared and ready to start the trip after a short meeting. We will plan to return to the parking lot between 11:30 and 12.
