The leaders will bring plant guides and lists to help identify the wildflowers and plants on the prairie. We will focus our identification on ten key wildflower species found at the Scatter Creek prairie.
Feel free to bring any plant or flower guides that you have, a hand lens or magnifying glass, and binoculars.
Bring appropriate clothing for warmth and rain. Since we will be stopping often and moving slowly, you may require more clothing to stay warm.
Meeting place and time will be send to participants a few days before the activity. We will begin in the morning and spend 3 to 4 hours of exploring the prairie. A Washington State Discover Pass is required for parking.
