Naturalist Trip - Juanita Bay Park

Enjoy a 3 hour morning birding stroll through the Juanita Bay Park, a 110 acre urban wildlife habitat area. We will mainly listen and look for birds and attempt to identify them but might also identify plants, reptiles and mammals.

Meet at 8:30am at the Juanita Bay Park parking lot.  

The goal is to walk and view this urban wildlife habitat area consisting of five major plant communities, including wet meadow, marsh, open water and wetland.  We will spend approximately 3 hours walking at a leisurely pace stopping often to view and identiy birds.  Bring binoculars and a spotting scope if you have one.  Also bring a bird book or a bird app such as Merlin to aid in identification - a group effort.
