Meet at 9:00am at the Soest Garden just east of the Center for Urban Horticulture at the south facing benches. Be sure to secure your car since the neighboring parking lot is prone to break-ins.
After introductions and before starting our walk we will use the restroom in the building which opens at 9:00am.
The goal is to walk and view the landscape together to locate birds. Sharing knowledge, skills and more eyes will make us more successful. We will spend approximately 3 hours walking at a leisurely pace stopping often to view and identify birds. Bring binoculars and a spotting scope if you have one. Also bring a bird book or a bird app such as Merlin to aid in identification.
