This hike has a crossing of Bean Creek that can be challenging.  However, we will recon and only  take this hike if the stream is fordable.  The hike has wonderful flowers and a large, wet meadow in the Basin that is florabunda.  Birding can also be good as is the scenery.  If the hike is undoable or if, for some reason conditions are not good, we will use an alternative destination in the area, and you will be informed before the hike.
