Intermediate Snowshoe - Wenatchee Ridge

Moderate snowshoe route near Lake Wenatchee to explore and enjoy the local scenery. If weather permits, we will enjoy the panoramic views of the Eastern Cascades.

  • For Seattle folks; let's meet at Green Lake Park and Ride by 6:30 am (south-east corner by the NE 65th St and 8th Ave NE)
  • For all others, we will meet at Monroe Park and Ride (NW corner of the lot) and be ready to leave by 7:15 am from here to  TH.
  • Goals for the trip are as follows:
    • Be safe.
    • Have fun.
    • Explore the terrain and make it to the ridge.
  • Expectations for participants are as follows:
    • Stay with the group.
    • Be in good shape. 
    • Have the necessary gear to be safe and comfortable and know how to use it.
    • Participate in group discussions and decision-making regarding avalanche awareness, route selection and turn-around time.
    • Voice any concerns about trail conditions, terrain choices and avalanche concerns.
    • Respect everyone's voice
